On November 10th the DMU students once again won the coveted Malpractice Bowl against the law students of Drake University. Both the mens and womens teams from DMU beat their Drake rivals this year.
The women won in a stunning blowout ending in a “mercy rule” victory. The final score was 28-6. The men's team had a more difficult game, winning in just the last few seconds before time ran out.
In the end, a good time was had by all. Our students even offered their medical training to injured players from the opposing team! Congratulations to everyone from Des Moines University and Drake University who participated in the 2007 Malpractice Bowl. We’ll see you again next year!
